Counselling and psychotherapy in Bath

I’m an experienced ex-UKCP registered counsellor psychotherapist formerly working at Combe Down Branch Surgery, Odd Down, Bath, BA22AL. I now work mainly on line and on occasion outside walking or at the surgery.

I provide a professional, confidential and a comfortable place in which to discuss personal concerns and issues and provide support in times of crisis. I have a great deal of experience and expertise in helping people with life's difficulties, depression, chronic low mood, symptoms of depression such as stress and anxiety, and related conditions. I work with young people as well as adults and welcome older adults too. I work with counselling students and offer a concessionary rate.

 Counselling Psychotherapy

We can get a great deal of relief from distress and unhappiness by talking through problems with an understanding, experienced, supportive and non-judgemental counsellor psychotherapist. Often this can be enough to help gain perspective, relief, and resolution. Sometimes though, our difficulties are exacerbated by the way we sometimes think or view things. Discussing and exploring our thoughts and views can lead to seeing things differently and help alleviate difficulties and unhappiness. There may be a few or many factors involved in one's difficulties and unhappiness. Some factors may have deep rooted origins, some related to current circumstances. We can work together with what ever you bring to the counselling sessions.

Combe Down Branch Surgery, Sulis Manor Road, Odd Down, Bath, BA2 2AL is within easy reach of central Bath, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Keynsham, Bradford on Avon and Frome.

Confidentiality and Ethics

Though no longer a member of the UKCP I still work within their Code of Ethics and Practice except for purposes of regular supervision; I consult a supervisor when and if necessary. This ensures good, safe and responsible practice. What client and therapist talk about during the consultation and any further sessions remains confidential.
